Papa Bear's Northwoods Store — Local services in Town of Baraboo

Great rustic, north woods cabin type furniture and related decor (lamps, picture frame, paintings, and more)... we decorated many rooms in our new modern/rustic house with items from this store. Lots of beautiful log wood furniture and furnishings. They have many pre-cut logs than can be put together into furniture like bed frames... you can pick out the logs you want from rough to smooth, light to dark finish, knotty to solid, etc. Prices are great for what you get and in comparison to "big box" furniture stores that only carry generic wood. Staff are friendly, helpful and patient as you work through your interior design with all of their cool stuff in front of you! Very nice (but expensive) items but terrible customer service and dishonest advertising. There was a sign advertising half off metal coat racks but the one I wanted wasn't included for some reason. Then I handed the clerk a 15% off coupon that I got from my campground and asked if I could use it (it was expired). She said yes and took the rack off the wall. When I went to check out she says I can't use it. I asked to speak with a manager and she said she is it. Even when I said that's why I showed her the coupon beforehand she would not honor it. I won't be back because I'm not going to shop at a business that doesn't treat customers fairly or want to make sure...

Not many options for decor at all. Was looking for a simple vanity or bathroom decor, no options or catologs offered to order from. They sell what is in their bathroom that they use for customers. So as my boyfriend and I were in the bathroom, door open btw, looking at decor, an older employee walks up to us like we are up to no good. Turns out she needed to use the bathroom. I'm not going back into the bathroom to, "shop," after that smell. Drove here for two hours...
