Erickson Orchard & Country Str — Local services in Town of Bayfield

Was there last weekend for the first time and was very disappointed with my experience there. The staff was very unwelcoming and I asked if there were any more cider doughnuts and the owner replied very sharply, "NO! come back tomorrow." being from out of town I would not be back for more. I asked an employee which counter to pay at and the employee was so engrossed in watching TV that I was completely ignored and had to basically stand 3 inches from her to ask where to pay for my apples. For a small family business, I was very disappointed in there customer service that I will never be back there again and I will not recommend this place to anyone...if anything I will tell them my experience there and recommend them NOT going there. My wife and I went to Erickson Orchard and Country Store for the first time yesterday. What a wonderful place. We picked about 1 3/4 bushels of Cortland, Macintosh and Honeycrisp apples and really enjoyed it. The young lady who assisted us in where to go and getting us started was so nice and helpful. She informed us right away that they chased the bear out of the Honeycrisps and we just had to laugh. The prices were great and the experience is something we want to continue annually. We also talked to a gentleman (might have been Mr. Erickson himself, not sure) about the Orchard and the different varieties and he was very informative. These people took time to chat with us and were so pleasant to talk to. We look forward to our future...

This is a great place to get fresh goods! It’s right outside of Bayfield and a great stop for those who love orchards and little shops! They have a very tasty selection of baked goods and I highly recommend trying them because they have something everyone will enjoy! Also, inside of the store, they have a few souvenir items that you can purchase while visiting (clothing, accessories, decorations, etc.). The owners are very kind and love to see people (new or returning) enter the store. I have been here several times and have had the same pleasant...
