Very intense and dangerous rapids/waterfall. There is "RIP NED" written everywhere, so this is not a place to goof around because in a split second, something could go horribly wrong. So, please take extra caution to were you are walking. There is 2 different trails leading down to the waterfall. The one on the the left has a steep incline down and the one on the right has steps and goes down gradually. There is a foundation from a bridge that use to connect the states at this point. Below the waterfall is a good fishing spot and there is a boat launch south of the falls if you want to fish by boat there, which is preferred, to get to hard to reach spots were the fish are...

We were hesitant to enter the final one-lane drive with our RV, so we left it on the gravel county road and walked toward the thunderous rushing water.    Read moreThis was a beautiful little area. I park at the end of the road to the parking lot because I drive a Corolla and its a little rough, the walk isn't far. Then it's just a small downhill trail to get to the falls area. The falls aren't huge but it's a gorgeous area to picnic for the day! The horse flies can be bad but I use 30% deet and it keeps them at bay! There are some vault toilets along the gravel road leading up to the trail. The few times I've gone it wasn't...
