Bushey's Furniture — Local services in Town of Beekmantown

We bought a sofa and recliner from Bushey’s last year. In April of this year before we even owned it a year we were having mechanical issues. Called up and spoke to Richard. He said he’d come look at it. He took pictures and told us Best Furniture was very good replacing their products.

A month went by. Nothing. Called them, went into the store, everything. Finally Randy told us that Richard never put into Best Furniture our warranty. Richard said because he lost the photos on the phone. We supplied him with photos and they said they’d get back to us.

2 weeks went by. No phone call, no text message nothing.

Called again left a message. Nothing.

Called again a week later left a message nothing.

Spoke to Hope on the phone and she said Randy would take care of it.

We have useless furniture. Our recliner is stuck in an “up” position and we keep tripping over it so we had to take it out of our living room.

Now we are going to small claims court. Every time they DID answer all we got were apologizes and promises. Nothing was ever done. I highly doubt they even put in warranty to manufacturer. My guess is they are waiting until warranty is out of date. Either way, terrible customer service, terrible products. Never will I deal...

3:10 on a Sunday drove in looking for a couch and love seat. They close at 4 and I didn't want to be that guy, but well I was and randy greeted me with an amazing attitude like always. 30 years since mom and dad started shopping there and I'll continue on doing the same as well. He helped me load, tarp, and secure my furniture. I left with a new recling sofa and love seat, plus a bonus recliner. By 4pm I was back in peru and that is why I love that place. Quick to the point and an honest truth about what your getting for what you paid. I wish I had a way to give them 10 stars! After my beautiful home sold Richard Jr and his helper traveled to Vermont to get some things from my home this month and ended up coming back a 2nd time for additional items and working with the buyer of my home to make sure she got items she wanted with the home. They are VERY hard workers, yet they took the time to talk and listen to my stories about the items they were taking and even offered to properly take dispose of a tattered American flag I had been putting off disposing of that belonged to my dear friend Richard who had passed away.
