Dollar General — Local services in Town of Berkshire

The Berkshire NY Store began very well, but the last several months it is a disaster area. 1/3 of the shelves are bare, the coolers are almost always bare. Employees posting signs that their trucks are not arriving. Its a mess, cluttered, getting a cart through isles can be literally impossible. Things bare on proper shelf and find things in misc. area in several random different isles. Seriously disorganized, no manager to be found. 1 employee on a Saturday, 12 people in line and more adding up. Tons of items have been out for over a month or more. 4 foot sections of peg hooks with 2 items and the rest empty. Its getting out of control and someone needs to take control. Sounds like a training issue. Employees are frustrated and swearing in the isles to customers about how overwhelmed they are. NOT GOOD. Reginal or H.O. NEEDS to pay this store a visit and get it together because we really NEED this New Store in our rural town. I know its hard, but I was a salary manager for Walmart for 10 years, so I know what it takes and this store is spiraling...

Used to be a good store... I walked in the other day to get a few things...couldn't even navigate the store with the shopping cart as there were boxes of items on carts that need to be unloaded all through the aisles and in the way...many items were out of stock as most likely still in the boxes. I ended up leaving without buying anything and went down the road to the family dollar instead. Tried calling the phone # I was given for regional manager and mailbox was full. I must say I dont know what happened to the dollar general but I am a daily shopper and I am not happy with the stuff they dont have that we all need this is my go to store and being such u think they would keep stuff in stock which at first was happening and now nothing, I am disgusted by the way the employees are treated by the manager when she just comes and goes as she pleases and there swamped...
