Pixley Falls — Local services in Town of Boonville

10/17/2023 My dog, Odin & I walked the foottrails all around Pixley Falls today, What a gem we have with this park! The main falls were beautiful but I have to say.. all the other smaller falls around that park have their own kind of uniqueness…Very nice trail! We found that there is yet another trail being made….”The. North Country National Scenic Trail” is currently under construction…it joined into the upper Pixley Falls trail….I have walked a good chunk of this trail and I must say, its a really good one..cannot wait...

Absolutely beautiful in the fall and I had the entire park to myself. I was staying in Herkimer and wanted to chase some fall foliage so I drove north and stumbled upon this gem. The trails are all easy buy bot very well marked. The bathroom is clean and well maintained. While Pixley Falls itself was dry today, there were several other falls along the path including a pretty large one hidden in the woods just...

Then hike down to the main fall is easily accessible and quick. If you continue the trail away from the fall you'll run into some smaller waterfalls that might or might not have water. As the trail leads up there is a nice creek along the trail where my girls like getting wet. There is an area of the creek where the rock is so smooth my kids use it as a waterslide.
