Tops Friendly Markets — Local services in Town of Boston

This store received 2 stars because it is the only grocery in town. So 2 stars for convenience. The selection isn’t great. A lot of “Tops” brand. The prices are high. The sales associates act like they hate their job. Many of the cashiers wait for you to load your own groceries. I guess their young backs are more prone to injury/fatigue then yours. unfortunately no competition in our small Town so stuck with Tops. This place is horrible. I would defined not recommend anybody to go to this place. There’s mice that run around this store, flies all near the food cases, and the workers tend to not take there jobs seriously. They over work some of there workers that are only part time and let other workers get away with calling off constantly. This place is a joke of a store and should be shut down. How would you feel knowing mice are running all over your cold cut meats? Definitely would not recommend anybody to work here or...

Store is fine I guess, but their selection can be quite disappointing. There may be 6 different options, but somehow they’re all the same. Need litter? Lots to pick from but they’re ALL scented. Want some broth for soup? Hope you eat meat, they don’t carry vegetable broth- a basic pantry item. Has your 5 gallon bottle of water emptied? Don’t go here to exchange it, they’re likely not stocked. Often very dissatisfied when I visit here, it’s probably worth the trip to go somewhere else,...
