Airco HVAC - Air Conditioning and Heating — Local services in Town of Brookhaven

I'm sure these things are supposed to be short, but this one isn't going to be. I'm pretty old and I've had many many repairs done and extensions built and all kinds of problems taken care of in a variety of ways. I called Brian at Airco. I chose him because he stated he was licensed to deal with the type of equipment I had and he was local. It was late afternoon and my very old Fujitsu air conditioning unit was dead. Not only did he pick up the phone but he called me much later and said he could come over. I missed the call so I called him back and he arrived the next day. I have never had any repair person take so much care,to repair, an admittedly very old piece of equipment. He made note of that and that he was going to try and get it operational. With great thought and care, he figured it out. He gave me several scenarios of why this may have happened and how to keep it from happening again, hopefully and also explained about the way this unit was working. I found it fascinating. I found him unbelievably attentive and committed to his work and his, his customers, and his company. I was pretty sure that whoever walked through the door here to repair. my unit was going to tell me that it's at the end of its life, which is, since I think I've had it for 22 years, probably true, and tried to sell me a new unit which at this time I cannot afford. Next year when I will be able to replace this old unit with a new one I will absolutely be calling Brian at Airco I wish I could give him more than...

Brian is an absolute life saver! He's knowledgeable, meticulous, courteous and prompt. I called Airco on one of the hottest days that we've had so far this season because my mini split was throwing errors and no air. It was around 9pm and I was fully expecting the call to go to voice mail. Not only did Brian pick up the call, he said he would come by in 10 minutes (which he did), provided an honest assessment and what he would be able to do in different scenarios. When he arrived, he was incredibly thorough and talked through the entire process. He ultimately fixed the issue and even checked in afterwards. Alex and his partner came to install my new central A/C unit about two weeks ago, he and his partner were here all a day and did an amazing job. I cannot day enough good things about this company. Just today it seemed like my A/C stopped believing cold air. I panicked because it is very warm out. I called them and they were at my house examining the problem within an hour. It turned out to be a safety mechanism with the air condition, that if the unit turns off it needs to rest a few min before it will go back on again and due to the brief thunder storms we had earlier today the circuit breaker tripped.
