Target — Local services in Town of Brookhaven

Maybe I’m turning into a Karen but let’s go: This target is usually wonderful but this happens to be a hot spot for influencers, maybe because of the area. Unfortunately they will do anything for attention including harassing innocent people (like a mother with her children) for video, running into shelves while their friends record, cursing and screaming.. security nowhere to be found. It’s nothing against the employees but my most recent experience was traumatizing for us. Imagine going to target and someone is dancing right behind your child so close they’re deliberately invading your personal space and when you ask them to stop they won’t.. and you can’t do anything about it because they didn’t physically touch you. An older man and a younger person is seemingly recording across the way. My six year old can’t understand why this girl (practically a woman) was harassing us and getting in our face. We’ve contacted target about the incident but have gotten no response. I thought people aren’t allowed to film here. Considering contacting the police because the situation was so strange, we weren’t sure if this woman was trying to distract us so their friend could snatch one of my other children; maybe they were recording for TikTok, not sure but harassing a six year old is just too much and it’s surprising to me that Target wouldn’t want to...

Target carries PRETTY LITTER which is more cost effective than buying directly from the company since the bags are larger at Target! FARMERS FRIDGE salads and foods are only available at Target or international airports... these are great for carrying a nice lunch salad to work. Target carries organic MILK @3.99, an unheard of price these days. I can always find things here that I can't find elsewhere... I love visiting the seasonal section in back where I can always find interesting things that I never tried before (like BACK TO THE ROOTS grow kits and reasonably priced gardening tools). And I like that I always get 5% off by using my TARGET card. I only wish the app and rewards system was different and easier to navigate. I don't like the Target app at all... But the Target store on Pond Path...

I normally love this store because of how clean it is and the deals on some of the items. However, some of the staff there can be really rude, racist, and discriminating. I went to this Target a while back and bought about $600 worth of things and when the cashier was ringing my mom's things up, she was snickering, being rude and really mean, and talking trash about me and my mom to another cashier behind her, who was also being very racist. And the thing is that they were doing all this in front me and my mom and the rest of the Target customers, most of which looked shocked. My mom couldn't even believe how rude and horrible they were being. The store manager, who was understanding, did apologize in person after the two employees' shifts ended.
