We had a party of 2 adults and 7 children. Paid $10 admissions fee per person for a fall festival. Donuts were a 45 minute wait. Paid ,walked to see the underwhelming farm animals ( chickens , one small old pony with a prominent swayback, one goat, one small pig, turtle). Toys on playground were mostly broken. Returned for donuts and was told that there was still a wait. Stood patiently with other patrons who had also been waiting a 20-40 minutes and no one seemed sure of what to do, despite having paid. Someone mentioned that there was a list. We look for our names on the list and I numbered folks per their arrival. When the poor overwhelmed young woman got to me, I gave my donuts to another patron and calmly waited while still trying to help organize. NEW patrons to the line are served donuts out of order and when I approached the folks, they seemed annoyed with me. One stated that they couldn't work with lists. This was a bit shocking since THEY made the lists on 2 paper bags. I then reminded them that I was actually next, but they would still need to contend with the rest of the large group of women waiting if they continued to ignore their list. It felt like they served those they preferred and the rest of us were chopped liver. After that experience, I refused to give any more money to this establishment. It's sad, because in the past I had a favorable experience. Not sure...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLove the farm, love the events. But this years moonlit corn maze was not fun. They had a one night event, where as in the past they had multiple nights. Because it was a one night event they had a lot more going on but it consolidated all the people coming in one night which resulted in a lot of people. Thatās fine but itās not fun with too many people in the corn maze at once. There were unattended kids running thru the non trailed paths throwing corn and stalks at people. Hyper out of control kids. Where are the parents?? Even noted 3 young boys aged approximately 10 years old throwing rocks!! There are people of all ages in this maze and could get hurtā¦.this was NOT COOL. I think their event was really nice but the behavior of the kids brought it way down. I donāt know what the solution is but you donāt want people...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo I called and was told they sell hot cider donuts, so I stopped by to check it out and engulfed. There is no real store building, but there is a greenhouse type of building with some gourds and scented brooms, etc. There is a little animal feeding area with chickens and roosters, a pig, two ponies, and 1 goat (that's what I saw), then there is a shack of sorts that does the donuts. Unfortunately my donuts were not hot or fresh out of the fryer, but none the less I ate one when I got to my car and they were quite tasty! While exploring the grounds they seem to have a zip line, cornmaze, pumpkin patch and a wagon that takes you somewhere. It's a cute location and definitely worth the visit if anything I've mentioned...
