My wife and I ordered a new family room set from International Furniture just after Thanksgiving. We were very pleased with the customer service we received from Colette and how easy the process was with her, as we placed our order over the phone. Although delivery was expected within 2-3 weeks, we had already planned a Christmas weekend at our home with my extended family 3 weeks after we ordered. We knew it would be close to the 2-3 week estimate for delivery and we went ahead with the order, feeling confident in the team at International Furniture. Our main concern with ordering the furniture was that it would not be delivered in time for our extended Family Christmas. Mary contacted us several times to give us updates as to where our items were being shipped from and the expected delivery date. She even offered to deliver any furniture we liked off the showroom floor if our order did not come in by Christmas, so that our guests would still have furniture to use in our family room. They sold me a $5000 sectional , stating it is real leather. It turned out to be bonded leather & is peeling all over the place. Junk! They sold me an expensive dresser/mirror and the top “wood” started peeling fairly quickly. Garbage! They didn’t know how to remove a few screws so they could get some furniture into my basement. These delivery people were rude & acted like it’s my fault. Which , of course, it was not! Got inconvenienced, having to go get different furniture from them. Never got apology from them. Very helpful staff. Knowledgeable and courteous. Pretty good selection of items to check out on display. Staff willing to pull out 3 ring binders with additional selections if you don't see what you want. Don't be afraid to ask for this service if you don't see exactly what you're looking for.
