Do not buy coal from this vendor. He does not stand behind his product. He sold us 3 tons of coal that kept producing clinkers, jamming the grates and producing quantities of ash. At first we thought there was something wrong with the stove and it was time to replace it. We've been burning coal for 20 years. When we went out to Williamson to look at coal stoves, the salesperson thought it might be the coal and recommended trying Blaschak coal. The difference in the quality of the burn was night and day. Now the stove works great. No jamming of the grates. Minimal ash. In 3 days of burning Blaschak coal, we have yet to empty the ash bin. Before we were emptying it every night. I called Conesus to ask them to at least remove the ton and a half of garbage coal he sold us that is sitting in our basement. His response was complete denial and no way was he willing to do anything to rectify the problem. I ordered top soil to be delivered. The website allows you to enter delivery instructions and a delivery address, which I did provide. I didn’t hear from anyone for 3 days, while I waited for a delivery date (which the website said they will provide after the order is submitted). I reached out for a status and they said the order was canceled since they don’t deliver to my area. Then I wasn’t refunded the full amount since they said they had transaction fees they weren’t willing to refund because as they said in their email specifically, “your error, not mine. I’m not eating the fees.” Wow! Nowhere did I see they didn’t deliver. Asking for delivery instructions is deceiving. Lots of choices to get landscape material. Don’t shop here.
