East End Waterfront Boat Ramp — Local services in Town of Cape Vincent

Nice public boat ramp with parking. There is a pier next to it with benches for fishing and relaxing. Quite a busy place in the summer lots of people putting boats in. They have a handful of slips there where you can tie your boat to for loading and unloading after you put it in the water. Later in the season since the slips are floating slips the water level drops which makes it a bit challenging to get from the land down to the dock if you are not as limber as you used to be. The docks, the bathrooms are much nicer than before. But for people fishing from shore over by the pier. It's extremely easy to get caught up on it because it goes way out under water. I would be helpful and grateful and would draw more people in town and allow local residents better access to fishing. Especially for those who don't have boats.
