The Mohawk River golf course is a very poorly maintained course. The layout is nice but after any slight bit of rain, it's a mudfesh no matter what month it is. They let people play all year round and in any condition so the cart tire marks are everywhere. There is little difference between the fairway and the rough, neither being very thick with grass. Spotty coverage, at best. Weeds everywhere. Just played it on 2024. The pros shop and cart house are falling apart and the bathrooms are past disgusting. I don't need much for a bathroom but this us unbelievable. If you come out of there without an infection, consider yourself lucky. The edges of the cup are typically grown in a bit since cup location is changed only periodically. Two-thirds of the greens are boring as they are all back to from sloping. Not much variety. Limited legitimate spots to put the pins. Ball impact marks everywhere. The clientele clearly does not have course condition in mind. If fact, a maintenance guy was using a blower to collect the divots that had not been replaced. About half the times I've played there it's been lift, clean, and place and cart path only. Never going back. So many nicer places a short...
Read moreI’d give this place 5 stars, except course maintenance needs some help. Customer service is TOP notch. Last night I went to hit a bucket at the range around 7:15 like I do almost every day, but the range was closed for maintenance. Cindy, who was running the pro shop, told me, and remembered this has happened 3-4 times this season to me. She offered me to go play as many holes as I can until dark, on the house due to the inconvenience. She did not have to do that, but she did, which speaks to the entire club’s integrity. I play the course up to five times a week, and suggest everyone...
Read moreI used to play this course at least once a week. Despite that is had always been poorly kept. But after going back the other day (first time sense winter) I'll never go there again. They jacked up the price ridiculous. They changed me $30 each for me and my son to walk 9 holes. And $40 for my wife to take a cart for the 9 holes. And there wasn't even a drink cart. Every course around is much better kept and now much less expensive. Don't waste your money or time...
