This place was so much fun and such an incredible experience!! My friends and I visited for a guided tour with one of the staff members. It was so special to meet the animals and learn all about them from our guide.
The alpacas were so sweet, soft, and friendly. And the pygmy goats were just a hoot—our guide informed us that the goats will climb on your back if you get down in a crawling position, so now I can say I've had TWO pygmy goats on my back! This was maybe my favorite part of the whole experience. I’ve also heard Eagle Eye Farm hosts goat yoga in the summer, and while I'm not really a yoga person, I would love to go back just for these goats! 😁🐐This said, I also loved seeing and learning about the other animals as well—their highland cows, pigs, chickens, sheep, and of course those lovely alpacas.
I'm sure the self-guided tour would also be excellent, but I really enjoyed having the guide to walk us through the farm and answer all of our questions, especially since it was our first visit. She was really nice and knowledgeable about the animals. I think the experience was definitely enhanced having her there and very much worth it!
Overall, the farm is truly beautiful and meeting the animals was so magical. This would be such a great day trip for a family, date—or really anyone who loves animals! My friends and I had a wonderful experience here and I highly recommend...
Read moreOur whole family had such a wonderful time here! We range in age from one year old to 67 and everybody left with a smile. The facility was super clean and it was a bright sunny day. Parking was very easy. Booking was easy as well and check in was seamless. The tour was so much fun and we all really enjoyed seeing the animals and hearing the tour guide explain how the farm runs and who the precious animals were. I did not think I would like to pet an alpaca so much but I did. The children absolutely loved it, even the baby who had his toes nibbled on by a sweet and curious alpaca. It was about an hour long and that was just enough (we ran out of the feed we bought anyway). After the tour we washed our hands and then entered the gift shop which was incredible because it has a bunch of super soft alpaca products. They are spendy but alpaca is an incredible wool that will last a long time and makes for a really thoughtful gift. Eagle eye farm is doing a really wonderful job of caring for their animals and setting their staff for successful future careers in animal husbandry. Highly recommend...
Read moreWhat a lovely farm! Our 2.5 yo had a blast feeding the alpacas and feeling their soft coats, as well as seeing the many other animals. Dawn was a wonderful & attentive tour guide; great with kids & truly loves the farm animals. She knows all the farm animals by name. The farm is kept super clean with the help of hired farm hands. I didn't catch the gal working in the gift shop, but she too was wonderful; the perfect personality to work with kids & people visiting. Visiting this beautiful farm reminded me of my dream to one day live in the country again... sigh. So peaceful & beautiful. I think they recently increased their prices from 10$ -- $15 a person, however well worth the money. I think other local farms chart $30/person for a tour.
Tip to parents: Don't bring a double stoller-- single will work best for the tour! The double stoller is too wide to go through one of the doors. And boots worked great for our tour! Just bring a target bag to put your dirty boots in for...
