Horrid experience, I would recommend against going here. Had to call the cops to make sure that nothing was going to happen. We showed up and parking was not clearly labeled. Once we finally got inside, we got harassed immediately by the owner for looking around for said parking. He called us stupid. He accused us of snooping on him, amongst other things. He even had everything on security camera (which he was sure to let us know) so he could clearly see that nothing happened, we literally just drove, turned around, and parked. We let him know that the interaction was making us highly uncomfortable, that it was my wife's birthday, and that we were just trying to get her a gift, something to make the day special. We had been having an incredibly rough week. He belittled us, told us that he had pictures of our car for the cops, said he was taking pictures of us for the cops, and told us to get out of his store. I don't write reviews usually, but I felt compelled to write this one to keep anyone else from having such an experience. We had to explain to him three times that the parking was not clearly labeled, and so we have been looking for a spot. If you can't get that through to someone, I don't know what you can. We called the cops, they said that we would be fine, and that there was nothing that he could do to pursue us, but again, just an incredibly difficult experience. If I could give zero Stars I would.

As a response to your response, that is interesting, since the sheriff told me not to worry about it (talked to him before posting), and that since you did not have any private property signs, that I did nothing wrong. That you were overreacting. Furthermore I don't appreciate you lying. We did promptly apologize for going out back. We explained that we had ACCIDENTALLY done so, that there was no "Do not enter" or "private property" sign so we took the short road to find marked parking (like they have in our state) and that we were from out of state. I did not claim that I had a right to be back there. You called me stupid for that. I did not give you the finger. I did tell you on my way to my car, that I would be leaving a review, that detailed my experience with you. You then came after me. Then you left and got your camera and came back and started trying to photograph our faces like some paranoid paparazzi. I did not come back into the store, you approached my car. It was at that point, that yes, I did tell you that I was going to call the cops. I did not threaten to have you arrested. I told you that I was going to tell them that I was being harassed, which, considering that you came after me, after I complied with your request to leave is I think completely reasonable. I don't really appreciate the defamation. You came in to two amazed and excited customers, and promptly gave them a nightmare experience. I don't get it. If I realized I would then have to defend myself from someone who seems to view the truth as flexible and stretchy as a rubber band, I would not have tried to warn the greater public. I am done. I don't want to do...

I’m so glad I happened upon this place. This is a wonderful spot to get candy from your childhood or your parents’ childhood. They have a great selection and reasonable prices. I saw Rock Candy, Mary Jane’s, Bit O’ Honey, many taffy varieties, the chocolate and caramel blow pops, fireballs, plenty of Warhead sour candy, they have the old cigarette candies, junior mints, zero, zagnut, chunky, sugar babies, raisinets, after eights, peanut brittle, nonpareils, red and white starlight mints, butter mints, butterscotch, and so much more!

They have a large amount of Harry Potter themed candy if anyone is looking for that, it’s here. They also carry a great deal of candles of all shapes, sizes, and scents. Speaking of scents, there’s also incense and wax melts. They even carry the money candle, each one has at least some dollar amount in it, few have a larger dollar amount. My boyfriend once got me the ring variety of these candles.

Aside from candies and candles, they have carved wood decor. Some have cute or clever sayings on them other larger pieces are great for cutting boards. They also carry cutting board wax polish to keep yours in good shape. They carry metal reusable water bottles which they can add designs to. A great variety, not far from Beer Tree Farm by the way. Stop by if...

They are using COVID precautions, including hand sanitizer when you first walk in, and mask required. Staff also appeared to be utilizing the same precautions. This store really has a large selection of yummy candy! Along with unique candy containers that kids love! It is set up for typical candy purchasing up to more bulk size purchases. They have little shopping baskets just for the kiddos....and they love to fill those! Along with regular sized ones. The candy mostly ranged from $2 -$5 per bag. (No loose bulk items, it is all repackaged or new packaged). With the more expensive large bulk items. They also have a a few turn displays up front with $.25 candy. The isles are very narrow so distancing is a little harder. Along with strollers and wheelchairs will I think just fit down. No steps though! They also have their huge store made candle side to the store. With maybe a hundred or so scents of hand poured candles in canning jars. They do have some crazy, unique, and awesome scents. There is also a smattering of other random items like, puzzles, and jerky spices etc. Great random...

Are you looking for unique candy? Do you like vivid colors? Can you recall the candy you loved from childhood? They have candles too! There are also a few other items in this store which I will not mention. You need to check this place out for yourself! This is not a quick shopping trip. Spend some time browsing the delicious candies. If you have children in tow, be strong because it's going to be difficult to give in. I'm an adult and I couldn't decide.

Wow this place is awesome. If you wanna feel like you’re in a dream or 10 years back, or remember your childhood then this is the shop to check out. We spent an hr just looking at everything and the candles smelled amazing. They also sell a variety of woodwork as well as lumber, and exotic lumber for local woodworkers. The wood prices are better than big name companies. Support local.
