I wanted to wait a few days before leaving this review so that I could give myself time to think of the words needed to describe my experience, but I've come to realize that there truly are no words that can accurately reflect how it felt to go skydiving for the first time... I'll do my best.

Breathtaking, exhilarating, beautiful, jaw dropping, intense, blissful, AMAZING. Those are all words that I would use to describe my jump. My mind was, and still is, truly blown away by both the excitement and beauty of the experience. My first thought when we touched ground was "EVERYONE NEEDS TO TRY THAT AT LEAST ONCE!!!".

As for the staff, I have nothing but great things to say. I want to give a special shoutout to a couple people who made the day extra special. First and foremost I wanted to give a special thanks to my instructor, Pete Collies. He was not only incredibly professional, but I can honestly say that he made me feel truly safe. Never for a single second did I have to worry about a lack of experience, or failure to explain anything properly. On top of that, his attitude and energy were unmatched. He made the entire experience nothing but exciting and enjoyable. I couldn't recommend him enough. Second shoutout goes to our camera man, Wyatt. He was born for this. He made me feel truly welcome and like part of the 'team'. Wyatt and Pete's energy perfectly matched each other and the positive vibe both going up and coming down was intoxicating. I can't believe how amazing the footage turned out, and I am forever grateful. He was spinning around us like a ballerina in the air and it took the breath out of me when he got close because of how perfectly synced up he was with us. Incredible job! Lastly, thanks to Mitch and Kevin for being so welcoming. They both took time to make sure our kids was enjoying the day while learning about skydiving!

Closing notes: I could not recommend skydiving at Skydive Milwaukee enough. If you're on the edge and not quite sure if you want to skydive, trust me when I say that you will not regret it. When you're done I'm certain that you will be as blown away as I am. I will be back again, there...

I've done two tandem skydives at Skydive Milwaukee and they were both AWESOME!

It's hard to describe the almost surreal experience of falling out of an airplane, going really fast, and then having a gentle and beautiful parachute ride down.

Skydive Milwaukee has a great facility, wonderful staff, and is just overall a nice place to be. It's very family friendly, clean, and well-maintained.

For my tandem skydive my group was shown a safety video and we had to fill out some paperwork. Then we were introduced to our tandem instructors (these guys with 1000's of jumps) who helped gear us up and took great care of us.

The tandem instructors explained everything in detail, answered all of our questions, and kept things just funny enough to help keep us relaxed. They were the same way on the airplane ride up. Funny, but super safety conscious and communicated with us about what exactly to do and not do

The ride up was really fun and beautiful. You could see Milwaukee, Chicago, Racine, Kenosha, and many of the cities and major landmarks in Southeastern Wisconsin.

The "ride" down was beautiful. At first you're falling really fast and then you're under this slow gentle parachute taking in all this beautiful scenery. There are lakes (it's lake country after all) galore, rivers, wetlands, forests, and so many beautiful things to see. This was my favorite part.

The landing was very gentle and smooth. My wife, kids, and some friends were able to watch because there is a nice covered area with picnic tables and a roof observation deck. There is plenty of space to watch and hang out. It's very family friendly.

I also got the video package which was super fun to watch with my family and friends later.

Unforgettable!

I can honestly say that I will never forget my skydiving experience. As I walked into the office, I was immediately greeted by friendly staff. Although there were two loads ahead of me, the wait time didn't seem long at all. As I patiently waited, I enjoyed the beautiful property, with its clean fields of open grass surrounding the office building. I watched the other jumpers from one of the two picnic tables near the main building.

Before I knew it, it was my turn. I had previously signed the waivers and watched the safety video, so I was ready to go. My tandem instructor, Hooch, was great. He reviewed the instructions with me again, and I could tell that he was passionate about skydiving and making sure that his jumpers had a safe and enjoyable experience.

On the jump, Hooch pointed out the view of Chicago, and he gave me a tour of the surrounding area. He was also great at keeping me calm and relaxed. The landing was perfect, and I was so relieved. My videographer, Mari, was also great. She made sure that I was looking at her the whole time, and she captured some amazing footage of my jump.

Overall, I had a fantastic time skydiving. I felt safe, I had fun, and I appreciated the friendly and professional staff. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who is looking for an unforgettable adventure.
