John's Bow Barrel & Bait — Local services in Town of Edgewater

When my nephew told me he knew where we could get a good deal on 9mm ammo, I said, "Let's go !" We drove through Birchwood and headed south on a county road. We were in the middle of nowhere when I saw the sign "John's Bow Barrel and Bait" It didn't mention anything about firearms or ammo. Needless to say, I was very skeptical, and my expectations were VERY LOW! Man, was I wrong. Their showroom;which was in a remodeled barn; was over flowing with a great variety of long rifles, AR-15 Platform rifles, shotguns from side-by- side, over & under to single barrel. Ammo was everywhere you looked. It was on the aisle headers,the shelves, and floor. To top it off the owner, John, had an incredible knowledge about the products, the manufacturers and their history.

I always enjoy going to John's. There is a huge assortment of guns and ammo in stock. Prices are very reasonable, and they know everything you could hope to know about guns, ammo, scopes, and clips. They even carry knives and sheaths as well as many holsters. I couldn't find the scope mount I've wanted from any other local shop or Walmart or Amazon. They had it, and all I had to do was tell them what scope, gun, and base I had. Definitely one of my favorite...

John and Karl both have been great to work with. 9 times out of 10 they have what we are looking for. If they don't they are willing to look for it. The shop is located off of highway 48 outside of Birchwood. The shop has lots of things to offer. They have lots of g*ns, ammo, mags, accessories, ECT. The shop is main level. There is a small step in the door but fairly easy to get over.
