It's a nice place, but beware, you can't trust their perishable shipping service. I ordered some Korv for Christmas, paid a large sum for overnight shipping, and it arrived the next day completely thawed and warm. It was poorly packaged, just wrapped in a thin layer of newspaper, put in a plastic bag, and stuffed into a too-small box. If they had just used some bubble wrap, it would have been fine. I called, but they didn't take any responsibility for it. They actually blamed the Post Office -- they did their job and the package was on our front porch by 8am the next day. Good customer service would be to apologize and offer to ship out more or refund the price. Nope. The limpa and bond-ost is okay, but $75 for that and 3lbs of warm Korv? Food poisoning on Christmas? Read moreI did not want to write them a bad review because they have been fantastic in the past. However, they have been terrible recently. We got a whole strawberry rhubarb pie on Monday which they claim are 'fresh baked'. Put it in the fridge within 30 mins. It had green mold on it by Wednesday. My husband called them, the lady was nice and they offered to exchange it. On Friday, we were given another pie which they claimed was frozen. We opened it within 30 mins. Lo and behold. Read morePeterson's is Hands Down thee Best Farmers Market there is for this entire area. They keep a Great selection..all fresh & delicious fruits & vegetables. I love their Greenhouses too; the plants are beautiful, well cared for and are a great start to any garden. They have other local supplier items too; like goatskin peanut butter fudge (that is incredible), some irresistible cocolates along w/other scrumptious items.
