I do think the hours posted are wrong. We waited to show up till about 2 minutes after they opened and they were already crawling with people leaving after purchasing. So I think they open at least an hour earlier then posted. Didn't see any hours posted on the shop itself, we looked when we were leaving. Line was too long...

First and foremost: Google maps is lying if it says the road is closed. It has been open fully since 9/30/24. Zero issues getting there from either direction and zero road blocks up.

Secondly: this place has amazing apples that are awesome for cooking for snacking.

Thirdly: the frozen slider slush is worth driving from Kenosha for but thankfully I can have one each day if I wanted to.

Our family stopped here in our way back from a visit to Holy Hill and the location is just perfect for visitors. All 3 of my kids got carmel apples and they all loved them. The apples were large and of very good quality. At $6 each, however, not a great value. Please also note they only accept cash or check. It was a great memory for the kiddos, but took off one star...
