Early settlers from Scandinavian countries built the cabins notching local timber and chinking or daubing the walls with clay. Reedsburg Area Pioneer Log Village is east of Reedsburg is a museum featuring several well crafted log homes and area artifacts, memories, heirlooms, collections, and keepsakes. Village cabins includes; The two-story Library/Born Cabin. The Gluth-Kruse lofted Cabin finished with family artifacts, memorabilia, and puncheon floor. The Redstone Cabin is furnished with period antiques and wood floor. The Willow Log Church, built by German immigrants, has an alter and occasionally will host wedding event. The German Oztman-Koenig Cabin was considered spacious as a three room log home. The General Store Cabin is stocked with collected period merchandise.
