I love the smoked cheese sticks. But do not understand why there is such big inconsistency with every other batch. One batch is perfect and the other is way over the top on smokey flavor. The cheese is dry and the smoke flavor is almost toxic. I buy about 8 1bs of cheese sticks a month. And will not buy it if its going to be that toxic and dry. Please make them the same. September 2016 batch are gross and dry again. Im tired of getting the look on the grocers face when i bring them back. Not worth the price when there dried out. Read moreOne of the most memorable trips of my life. My son and I drove 90 miles out of the way as we are suckers for fresh and awesome string cheese. Some reviews rated them the best in the country. To our total surprise this place was in the middle of nowhere. We waked in to "the store" to find two yes count them t-w-o 4' refrigerated cabinets. The look on my face must have been priceless as my son was about on the floor laughing. I bought one stick to taste it before I purchased a bunch to take home. NO strings just "tube cheese" and it was bad. The two lady's at the counter were very pleasant as I paid my 26 cents. They wanted me to try the "fresh ones" that were just made 2 hours ago. It was substantially better. However NO strings in the string cheese and the flavor was still awful. We will never forget our 90 mile trip and the 26 cents we spent at "BAKER CHEESE".
