Selk Electronics — Local services in Town of Fremont

The wireless service offered is horrible, but it is either Selk, or Country Wireless for us, and they don't have any better reviews. No such thing as "high speed" out here. Signal constantly drops out - usually when you are in the middle of trying to do something important (like pay bills). $39.95/mo for a "whopping" 2Mbps download speed (supposedly - rarely ever is). Complaining might get results for a couple of hours, but then back to the same BS - dropped signals, slower than molasses in January, and so on. If there were a better choice available to us, we would be all over it! (edited to add) I also think it is hilarious that their FB reviews are padded with obvious family members giving 5 stars, then they shut down the reviews option after getting a bunch of 1 star reviews. HaHa,...

Great service they were quick to install. Little to 0 issues with thier internet. Is great internet for streaming. We can stream mutiple devices no issues. My 13 yr old complains when hes gaming about the speed however we are streaming many devices. Only time its really gone our is usually a big storm and its been quickly restored. We have have recomended it to others. Best internet we have had in the we probaly had this internet for 5 of the 9 years of living here. Tried TDS, Hughs net and one other they were awful. Love the fact they are local. Not to mention thier generosity to help support different...

They came out to evaluate our location initially when I called.. very prompt. When we called them to then do the install, they again were very prompt, friendly. and knowledgeable. Great people to work with!! We previously had Hughes Net, snd were very unhappy with our speed, connection, as well as customer service.
