West Main Auto Repair — Local services in Town of German Flatts

Kind of glad my neighbor told me about this place. I recently put my sports car back on the road after several years. My neighbor told me about this place he just had his vehicle serviced. He boast about how knowledged the technician was and what his vehicle needed and where he could save money.

The shop is nearly 20 miles from home but he talked so highly of the place I felt obligated to find out if it really lived up to the hype. It was actually a breath of fresh air. I dropped my vehicle off after hours. I received a call the following day from confirming they have received the service request. They ran over some questions with me and explained when they would get the vehicle in to look over. Shortly after that I received a call from my technician explaining all that needs attention and what requires immediate attention and what will require attention following that. He even explained some of the simpler 10 minute projects required in case I wanted to complete it myself to save money.

He explained the process of ordering parts and the the process of the repair to help me further understand the timeline required. A few days later I received a call from the a lady stating my vehicle is complete. Less than two weeks for a vehicle that has sat for 5 years wasn't bad.

When I went to pick up the vehicle I was greeted by the owner. I asked him about a problem my girlfriend's vehicle is having with the driveshaft. Without missing a beat he guessed what kind of vehicle she had and explained the problem and how to resolve it. This repair shop is great. They treat each customer like their only customer. They follow up and check in even months after you have service performed. They will ensure that any problems are resolved before and after service. Prices are reasonable and drop off/pickup is super convenient. My work schedule prevents me from ever visiting during business hrs. But they accommodate after hrs drop off and pickup and consultation over the phone. I’ve never actually met any of them staff here in person…. I can’t comment on their looks because I’ve never met them. But for anyone with a vehicle out of manufacturer warranty I recommend this shop. These guys are knowledgeable, thorough, honest, efficient and the quote made a huge difference. It wasn’t just a list of repairs and costs, it was a scale of severity and photos to show what they’re referencing. I could easily understand what was something that could be taken care of later versus what needed to be taken care of now. They looked over everything I asked about and then some. Communication was clear and honest. Al runs a tight ship over there and the crew is awesome!
