Maple Leaf Orchard — Local services in Town of Gilman

This orchard is the REAL DEAL! Not Disneyland or a carnival, but where they grow the produce and you can buy it for a very reasonable price! You can pick your own from among the many varieties currently ripe, or load up in the apple shed. We discovered Maple Leaf over 30 years ago after being disappointed by the commercial orchards in the metro area where the apples were taking second place to all the hype and rides. This is a working orchard set in a beautiful landscape in rural western Wisconsin. The staff are wonderful, the apple donuts are to die for, the many varieties of apples are mouth watering! The best apple orchard in Minnesota and Wisconsin! I might be a bit biased as I did work here when I was a kid, but that also means I know Mark and Sue and know that they are passionate about what they do. They put in some very long hours during the busy season and it shows. They have a great little bakery that turns out apple crisps and pies and donuts, and also sell soaps and other locally made items. Hi Mark & Sue, when my sister Nancy & I were at your farm market we throughly enjoyed looking at all your produce & other food items. My husband & I have enjoyed 6 of your delicious apple pies. I did purchase a jar of your apple sauce which was delicious & a jar of your farm style pasta sauce. I made a pasta & chicken thigh meal today with your pasta sauce. It was very delicious, Patrick ate two helping which he does not normally . Just wanted to thank you both for your absolutely delicious items.
