Great venue! Beautiful location! Great sound! I would have left a 5 star rating but the security at such a small venue was not cool. They made my wife put her basically empty purse back in the car while I walked in with cargo shorts with stuff in every pocket and wasn't patted down or anything. We immediately spent 100 dollars at the merch booth right in front of the entrance and I asked security if I could put the records and merch in the car (which we could see from where we were standing) since my wife no longer had her bag to hold the stuff we just bought. I was told no reentry. So it would have been another 65+ dollars to come back in. I had another patron approach me and told me they wouldn't let him put the posters he just bought in his car either so it was a reallybad initial impression of the venue. There were less than 100 cars in the parking lot and no line to get in. During the set break after the first band security saw me and told me she had asked the owner and I could put the merch in my car. This made my night much better so I could dance without holding or watching over the merch. I was greatful they made things right. One other suggestion is if you have a cheaper domestic beer option (not even that cheap at $9 a pint) annd another couple options besides just Bud Light. Maybe a Labatts or Genessee. I hope they loosen up a bit in the future and just use common sense security. I would guess a more relaxed vibe would increase their ticket sales for these types of shows. I look forward to going back for another show. I hope this was just a one off with new staff members being strictly...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy boyfriend, knowing I use to own a farm, surprised me with a trip down memory lane to this place. I have to admit the meal that was prepared was very good and the atmosphere, very down to earth and homey. The views were spectacular, and the young couple who worked there, were very sweet and innocent. We ended up taking them out to music and bowling, since they had been stranded there for 5 days, with no car. Here are a few downfalls, which will make me think twice before doing this again, and I feel others should be warned is...
Update: now my second show driving 3 hrs to this venue. First off I love it. Itās so quaint and unique. And as packed as it can get you can still easily find your way around. They werenāt super strict about not tailgating before gates open ASAP THEY SHOULD BE! ppl pay good money and drive far to support your business. Ease up and let them enjoy themselves!!!But overall super cool intimate venue, beautiful grounds! Was so blessed to see my fav artist of all time xavier rudd here!! And sooooo close! Unreal how unique this was. I drove 3 hours from Erie. They had ample porta johns and even a trailer John (the nicer ones) Iām disappointed they charge $10 to park too though. Cause thereās nowhere else to park aside from ubering in. Craft beers were $12 so not terrible I suppose. Would be 5 stars if it wasnāt for upcharge in parking. Maybe $5 suffices but 10 come on now. Make your money from beer. I guess theyāre pretty strict on tailgating too but no one gave me or the neighbor friends I made a hard time. Overall lovely venue. The movement show was wayyyy oversold! There were lines everywhere! I was joking with ppl saying āwelcome to Lincoln lines!ā lol they really need to open that back area up by the pavilion as a second bar with just canned beer OR send some staff along the perimeter with beers in a dang ice cooler and sell out of that. Itās not that hard. Yall are losing out on soooo much money itās not even funny. I wasnāt waiting an hour...
