I normally don't take the time out to write reviews but I feel compelled to share my experience. Distinctive Surfaces Inc. name supports the dedicated service and products they provide. It's a characteristic that puts them in a class by themselves. The personnel that I dealt with were beyond friendly and most importantly knowledgeable. I appreciated the support that I received during this process. I went to their office not knowing where to turn nor did I have a full knowledge of the stone products. The office was closed but Dan invited me to come into the showroom. The hospitality won me over and at that moment, loyalty was gained. Dan connected me to Kristin and John who were both very knowledgeable and their communication was thorough. Nothing was left unturned. These guys are the best! Right from the initial phone call to the final installation. They set up an appointment to come out and take measurements and showed up early, which is far more than I can say for most of the other contractors I've had working on this project. These guys came in with a laser measuring device like nothing I've ever seen before. No more cardboard templates, this is a precise computer generated template and let me tell you, it came out perfectly and matched the contour of the drywall like a glove. The crew had the new quartz countertop installed in just a couple hours. The Seam is nearly invisible and the grain at the seam matches perfectly. I could tell right from the start that they knew what they were doing. Oh, and the sink is also high quality and not some cheap tinny piece of junk like other companies try to cheap out on. After having a bad experience with another Counter Top Company trying to sell a below grade product, then trying to do a bait and switch to a more expensive product, we contacted Distinctive Surfaces. Laura was very accommodating with our counter top search and understanding the color combination we were looking for. She was able to match us up with a remnant that matched what we were looking for.
