Since november we’ve been in contact with creekside. It’s been a longg road. So i’ll start from the beginning. My mother and I live in the city. We have family and friends in hamlin and used to live there. Me personally have always felt like home there. So, me and my mom made a plan. Her friend had been looking for a place to live, we wanted to move, so we got in contact with him and decided to lease our house out to him. Now creekside wouldn’t let us apply for a trailer until our house was leased out. It was about the middle of March maybe early march when the lease was officially signed and done. It’s now beginning of April and we have to be out of our house by May 1st. Creekside knew about our situation months ago. Different people from creekside told us multiple times we would have absolutely no problems getting in. We were so very excited. Told all my friends and family. Went to visit a bunch of trailers multiple times. Now, a few months ago we had decided on a trailer. We put our deposit on one. Then a few months later (as of last month) we hadn’t received any news back from one of the creekside sales people we had been in contact with the whole time. We get a call from someone else asking if we would still like completely different trailer that wasn’t even finished being built that we had never seen before we were confused considering that’s not what we put our deposit on. Come to find out our trailer was SOLD. Yep. Because the guy we were in contact with was deployed to the army and had been contacting us occasionally acting as if he was still working on us getting in when we have no idea where he is. We found the perfect place. We fell in love with you. It was in the perfect location perfect for our dogs. So, we ended up giving the trailer we had never seen before that the guy put our deposit down on a look. We actually liked it way better. So my mom applied for it and got denied. For what you might ask? Student loans. My mother has been working so very hard for MONTHS 13 hours 5 days a week. She makes very good money to the point you would ask, why move into a trailer if you make that much? It made no sense. And it was devastating. I’ve been hoping and praying we somehow get approved for it. If you can let teenagers move in with gas station/retail store jobs move in, but you can’t let a RN move in? Now, absolutely no judgment on absolutely anybody who works those jobs. But she’s a very accomplished woman with a very good work ethic and is so passionate. And all she wanted was a better life for us. My sick stepdad lives 2 minutes down the road. It was going to be perfect. I really am disappointed in creekside. It was a very bad experience all around. From our trailer we had our deposit on getting sold, to getting denied for no good reason. She sent them all the info they needed and she was followed up with “our decision is very clear you are denied there’s nothing you can do” something along those lines don’t mark my words. Overall, very bad experience working with them. I hope people have better experiences in the future because they are absolutely beautiful homes in a beautiful community. Thank you for reading and i mean no harm in writing this. Just want to warn you it may be a rough road trying to get...

She has been a long-term staple here not only with managing but with assuring the entire community has what they need. The biggest thing is, for each person to take pride in their home and keep the outside looking nice. It really makes for a nice neighborhood for everyone, if each person did just that.
