If you like smoked meats and cheeses, these are the best. Ray Turner has been doing this for decades and it's a pleasure to just stop in to grab a snack. The hot smoked salmon and shrimp are my personal favorites, but there are plenty of other smoked offerings including eel, game hens, duck, different sizes of chickens, gigantic shrimp, trout, cold smoked salmon, and cheeses. Apple wood smoke has the best flavor and that's what Ray uses. If you think Alaskan smoked salmon is delicious (usually alder wood smoked), think again. I'll bet they'd use apple wood for smoking salmon in Alaska if they had it. Ask Ray if you can view the river from his porch.
