I went to tel yehuda from 1984-1987 and still think of my wonderful time there and my dad's tearful, joyous response to our shirra and rikkud at parents weekend. I thought Mel Reisfield was the most charismatic and inspiring person I'd ever met and wish I'd been more mature and receptive to the camp's lessons about a Jew's important place in the world. I have attended this camp, worked there, sent two of my kids there and serve on the board? Why? Because the whole arc of my adult life started at TY.
