My expectations were exceeded in every stage of the process: My Sales Tech, Travis, was friendly, knowledgeable and willing to take extra steps, like looking at pictures of my radiators, then collaborating about approaches. He took my ideas into consideration, which I really appreciated!
Measurement and ordering were easy: I watched their video, used their templates for guidance, then got back to Travis, who walked me through my numbers to double check.
The cost seems very reasonable to us, especially for made-to-order, high-quality Radiator covers.
They arrived earlier than expected! Well-packaged and easy to unbox. (You need space to lay the box on one side, and a sheet underneath helped limit the packing debris.)
Assembly: I went to their website, and followed the clear directions. The first one took 40 minutes, the second, less than ten! The hardware is ingenious, and if you take the time to make sure that cam fasteners are completely pressed in and the dowels snugly screwed in, it's hard to imagine “fatal errors.”

I’m here to tell you Fichman Furniture’s Radiator Covers are not!!!
In addition, you get white glove service from Shiela and her colleagues from the get-go. We corresponded at length and she was as patient as patient could be with this DIY’er.
I am looking forward to receiving my first cover and ready to order the next one. I’ll be back same time, same channel to give you an update.

   Read moreWe designed and ordered custom made covers from Fichman Furniture for four unattractive heating/air conditioning units in our home. The construction and paint covering were flawless and were much easier to assemble than expected. The look of the covers exceeded expectations!
However, there were two problems. The door on the top of the cover to open to get to the unit controls was not placed in the spot we needed (due to a miscommunication) and the covers we ordered were intended for a radiator and not a PTAC unit which is what we had. With the PTAC, slats needed to be made in the top of the cover to allow for blown air to escape and circulate through the room. At that point I felt we were screwed on those elements as it is so difficult to get something like that corrected with companies these days.
But, Fichman was an exception. I messaged Fichman about the two concerns and they custom cut four new tops for me to secure to the bases, AT THEIR COST! Once they arrived I was easily able to attach them. The covers are now a 5 out of 5! That matches the 5 out of 5 for Fichman's...
