The Potter Hill Barn — Local services in Town of Hoosick

I have been stopping and shopping at the Potter Hill Barn for about 5 years now. When I meet my daughter and her family in Manchester VT, I ALWAYS make time to stop at the Potter Hill Barn on my way. They always have something new. Pricing is very fair for the area, and the quality of the merchandise is excellent. Every time I walk in, I have to literally drag myself out. The atmosphere, the girls that work there, the whole experience makes you want to stay (and never leave). They have a little bit of everything. I have yet to walk out without a "large" purchase. As long as they are there, I will keep stopping by, even to just say Hi. (Ya, we know that won't happen without leaving with a few gifts for myself.) What an unexpected surprise between NY and Vermont!! I made an impromptu stop out of curiosity and wound up wandering the store for more than 30 minutes despite being in a rush. There's so much to see!! Their selection of country style home decor is unmatched. They have local gifts/foods, maple syrup, candy, mixes, cocoa and more. They also have a HUGE selection of seasonal decorations that I haven't seen elsewhere including illuminated waterglobes. I visited at the end of September and they had both Halloween and Christmas. I can't say enough about how much I LOVE the Potter Hill Barn!! I've been a patron of Christine's lovely shop for years!! If you are a "primitives" lover like me, you will spend a couple hours there just going through everything Christine and her staff have throughout the Barn. They have something for everyone from food items and gifts to everything you can think of to decorate your home (especially for every season)! I just love every visit to the Barn.
