This place provides butchering services, we had two quarters, processed, each equaling 265 lbs hanging weight, on the first order, we received back 112 lbs, or 42% of hanging weight, on the second order the hanging weight was 265 lbs, we received back 131 lbs, or 49.4% hanging weight. The industry average is a 60-70% return of edible meat. They claim the 51-58 % waste was fat and bone, Cedar Road is either very bad a butchering, or they did not return all of the edible meat. Stopping at this butcher on our way through the area while on vacation has been on my BINGO card for months.

It didn’t disappoint - grabbed quite a few different items with the bacon “patties” high on my MUST get list.

Grabbed - beef bacon cheese bratwurst - jalapeño popper bratwurst - flank steak - breakfast sausage - double smoked bacon - bratwurst patties - pancake sausage slider sausage - breakfast sausage.

Filled our cooler and left so very happy.

I am always nervous about first experiences as I have had some bad ones. There was a miscommunication about our order which was not on Cedar Roads part at all but Kelsey jumped right in to make it right. Her passion and dedication to customer service is awesome. They did a great job butchering and making sure everything was how we requested. I will be a repeat customer. Keep up...
