We had contacted Ox-bo Marine last fall regarding an aluminum pier we had that needed repair work done. They had the entire winter to work on this project, and Chad assured me it was being worked on and 'things looked good'. As spring approached, we contacted Ox-bo for the status of the pier, again being assured it would be installed prior to Memorial weekend. Memorial weekend came and went. No pier. We made numerous calls to Ox-bo (once per week), only to be 'assured by the secretary', that while they were busy...they would get to us. First week in June, it was literally dumped off on our property in WORSE shape than when they picked it up. They gouged two metal side rails that now need complete replacing and most of the aluminum decking boards were ruined because they could not figure out how to insert them back into the grooves of the framing under them, so they basically pounded them down, resulting in dents all over the deck surface and crushed underside grooves. We contacted them once again AFTER we saw the damage, and Chad, STILL DID NOT attempt to call us back with any apologies or indication of fixing the further damage they caused. What kind of business does this? Leaving their customers high and dry? We gave them 2 separate $500 deposits for work to be done, and pier parts that were to be ordered. What we got in return, was a DAMAGED pier!! AND, we later found out that the original company that makes this pier, IS STILL IN BUSINESS. They could have fixed or supplied any parts needed or helped Ox-bo in their repair process, had they just investigated a little bit!! We would NOT recommend them, based on...

Read moreI don't recommend this place for any repairs ever.. I got ripped off and will NEVER do business with these people again.. It took 3 weeks and almost 600 dollars to replace a shift cable and boot between the stern drive and engine.. When I got it back, I was missing a tool, life jacket, and most important, they replaced the boot for the shift cable but,, Didn't FINISH INSTALLING IT TO THE BOAT. so, I didn't realize it until I put the boat in the water and left for thirty minutes, came back and the boat had water on it almost past the spark plugs on the engine.. when I pulled the boat out, I noticed the mechanic, never tightened the boot from the shift cable to the boat and leaked, badly..
I called oxbo Marine back and basically was told to fix it myself..
Don't raise your money at this place.. And the lady that answers the phone seems real incompetent and very rude..
Very bad...
