North Shore Holiday House — Local services in Town of Huntington

My daughter went for session two she had a horrible experience. She came back complaining that she was told to take a shower on a flooded shower stand and wasn’t allowed to use so often her water picker to brush her teeth. The cabin she stated was not very clean the mattress was very dirty filled with sand on the first day. She love the theme events but otherwise she complain that the counselors would not let her go to the nurse or drink water when she was thirsty she even got two blisters on each foot from the pool. This camp should have made my daughter feel cared and notice I understand they are many girls but my daughter has never gone through this. Wow I’m in disbelief this camp gets so much money and isn’t even providing great facilities for the kids. There so much to say but hopefully for future this camp will have better care for the girls. I attended this camp from age 4 to 15 when I became a CIT it was absolutely the best time of my life the friendships made. I couldn't wait for summer to come so I could see my best friend Fee Fee. The Sosa's where AWESOME people so where there sons it's like we grew up together summer after summer. I hated leaving. Our councilors were super fun. I give one star because my daughter was pushed my a girl in bathroom to the wall there and when they called and told me my daughter didn't like there thety didn't go into detail they just wanted her out and only give water no juice so my daughter will never return there was worse thing my daughter had go threw plus the help didn't do anything about it so this place far from safe and melissa got very bad attitude and don't return phone calls i sure will tell all my friends about this place...
