Great local course. This is the cheapest course in the area to play 18 with a cart and it is a great value. The course is maintained very well and pace of play is always pretty good - don't think I've ever had a round take much longer than 4 hours. Only knock is that the clubhouse restaurant hasn't been open for awhile, but they did just recently re-open the small cafe for refreshments, breakfast sandwiches and...
Read moreIt's ashamed that this state park golf course is not maintained better. What would be the clubhouse building is in such disrepair? The doors are locked. You can't even get in it. It looks like it's about to fall down. I think it's a disservice that the state is not maintaining this property the way it should. If you can get past the look of the clubhouse and get on to on the first tee, you'll have...

The view from the first tee is incredible, with the top of Mills Mansion peeking out of the trees, the Hudson River beyond, and the Catskills on the horizon. The layout offers enough variety for a diverse level of players, and the greens are always in fabulous condition. I do wish a season pass was available from the state to promote more accessibility, but as is, the course still...
