Bolla Market — Local services in Town of Islip

I've been coming to this place since it first opened, and I initially thought it was a great experience to have a convenience store so close to my home that offered one-stop shopping. Even their deli seemed very enticing at first. However, after my fourth attempt to get food here, I'm now struggling with the staff behind the deli counter.

Every time I visit, I notice that the employees handle everything with the same pair of gloves, never changing them. I try to wait until they start making my food before I make any judgments, but I observe the same employees handling boxes, cash, and moving inventory in the back of the deli, all while still wearing the same gloves when they make my sandwich.

On top of that, they have the nerve to give me an attitude when I ask them to change their gloves. This is completely unsatisfactory and unsanitary. It’s unacceptable that I have to ask them to change their gloves while they are preparing my food, especially after I’ve watched them handle boxes and cash with the same pair.

Overall, this experience has been very unappealing, and I don’t think I’ll ever return to eat here again until I see a change in their sanitation practices. The staff's attitude was also completely...

I purchased 4 items totaling 13.42. She rang them up and asked me how I was going to pay. I said cash and gave her the cash. I went to take the items and she said hold on the computer is broken.
