Dog Days Pet Care — Local services in Town of Islip

I have to say that this is by far the best experience I have had at a doggy day care. I contacted Laurie once I found her on google and she immediately set up a meet and greet which I loved because I would like for my dogs and I to meet with the person that is taking care of them. During the meet and greet she assured that all the dogs she cared for are vaccinated. Laurie’s home and back yard is big, beautiful and most importantly clean! You would not be able to tell that she has dogs in her home because her home did not smell! The first thing I notice when I go to a dog boarding is the awful smell of dog! Not here everything was clean, neat and tidy! The fencing around the yard is very secure. When I dropped my two dogs off Laurie welcomes them with hugs and kisses and I knew that my dogs would be in good hands. She made sure all my questions and worries were answered and sent me updates while I was on my honeymoon everyday. Everyday I received pictures of my fur babiesss! I was so grateful and most importantly stress free. I actually got to enjoy my vacation this time! Every time I go away I am always at a panic because I’m so scared that they aren’t being treated well. This vacation was different, my dogs even looked different when I picked them up. They came home happy and smelling of fresh berries. Laurie you truly have a love for dogs and it shows! Thank you for having my dogs and treating them like family. I am so honored to have such an amazing person to care for my dogs when I need a quick getaway!

I truly can't say enough good things about Dog Days Pet Resort. First let me just say that Laurie and her husband are truly amazing and really give your dog the best service. They are super prompt at getting back to you once you contact them.

I love the fact that they require a meet and greet so prior to your first doggy day care. This allowed our dog Willow to get comfortable with both Laurie and the space.

Their backyard is beyond impeccable for dogs. It's not only double fenced but they also have a fence around their garden beds so your dog cant get into them. Willow loves to play in the dirt and is a troublemaker so I was very happy when I saw that. The backyard is also astro turfed, super clean, has tons of dog toys and they even have dog pools for super hot days!

Laurie, is super professional and takes the time to make sure your dog is getting the best possible care during their stay and has fun. She takes the time to talk to you to during the meet and greet to learn about your dog and what they need. I also loved that she has everything there, no need to bring anything.

My personal favorite part is the pictures. Around the middle of the afternoon each day she sends out daily photos of your dog so you know they are okay and enjoying themselves.

This was Bently’s first stay at the Dog Days Resort of Saville. During his stay, it was unlike any other boarding facility. He got tons of play time, so many awesome action shots of the fun he was having with the other pups. He was treated like part of the family relaxing in the living area at night, not stuck in his crate all day. It was like a vacation for him while we had a vacation with his human family lol. I highly recommend them, we were able to book a stay and had a meet and greet the same week. The prices are very reasonable for all of the attention he receives and the drop off and pick up times are so flexible unlike any other boarding facility. They are more than a facility they are a loving home who loves dogs... Bentley will definitely be going on his vacations at the Dog Days resort of Sayville. Laurie and Cliff are so nice and caring, and frequent updates and beautiful pictures of the pups in action. Bentley made so many new friends during his stay, he came home so content and happy ❤️ Great puppy...
