Ebert's Greenhouse Village — Local services in Town of Ixonia

As a family that has been loyal to Eberts for a few years now its sad to say after our visit today we will try to find somewhere else to go.

We brought our dog as we always do and an employee started yelling at us that we couldn’t have the dog... we have alway brought the dog in the past and when we asked when the change was made he said dogs have never been allowed. As we kept trying to ask more questions he got irritated told us to put the dog in the car and walked away.

We have a new house and need to do all our landscaping so we were excited to go to eberts to get everything as the website shows a large variety. The women we asked to help at first said’ “ I only have a little bit of time but I can help” she ended up being helpful and started to become more friendly as time went on.

We were told that because of covid and other issues they did not have much inventory this year.. unlike the website showed.

If dogs are no longer allowed and your inventory is shot I think you should mention at least something on...

I highly recommend coming here! Have plenty of time to look. Like, just put aside a few hours. There's greenhouse upon greenhouse upon greenhouse. I stopped and talked to a few employees who were more than helpful. Everything is nicely organized and the entire vibe of the property is very calming. The plants are well taken care of and you can see it. The prices are very reasonable. We ended up purchasing herbs, veggies, and a few flowers for around $50 which, in all honesty, is well worth it. 1st time- overwhelmed, intimidated and shocked. The parking lot freaked us out to begin with on a Friday afternoon. You kinda go with the flow until you start paying attention to signs but to honest, I'd have appreciated a map since as we were leaving my husband said he saw the houseplant sign but I didn't. While I wasn't there for those, another trip for those is just fine. I immediately shared with family in Madison since the greenhouse they used to go to closed permanently.
