Your Own Estate - 4 Seasons Getaways — Local services in Town of Jewett

"Your Own Estate" was everything shown on the website. My extended family gathers together for a joint vacation every two years. This year we had 29 people (20 adults and 9 children) ranging in age from 2 years old to 99! "Your Own Estate" provided exactly what we needed. We actually had more bedrooms than we have ever had before and many extra beds. The houses were both clean and spacious. There were also extra folding tables and chairs which were so helpful because we try to eat all our dinners together. The extra kitchens with full size refrigerators and stoves also helped with our preparation of meals for 29 - especially when we celebrated my mother's 99th birthday.

We fully used all that was available: in-ground pool, hot tub, lake for paddle boarding and fishing, swing set, pool table, games in guest house, volleyball court, and the 7 picnic tables on the patio outside the main house kitchen. The large property allowed the little ones to run free and play (under parental supervision). The views from the house were beautiful.  There were trips during the day to the local breweries, the zip-lines and the local bakery and restaurants.

Brett from 4SG was extremely helpful to us in many ways. Our original booking at another house was cancelled 45 days before we were supposed to go. Brett worked with us, answered all our questions and was quick to respond to our texts and emails. I highly recommend this property.” ...

“A great ski weekend with no snow

We traveled to Your Own Estate for Presidents Day weekend 2023. There were 14 of us ranging in age from 57-15. It was meant to be a family ski weekend but the lack of snow and temperature in the 50s definitely made that difficult, but a great weekend was still had by all. We were happy to see when we arrived that the house was exactly as described on the website and via phone and email communications prior to booking. No surprises The house has a great lay out for group activities as well a quiet spots. While part of the group was watching a movie in the large living room, a few others were reading fireside in the smaller living room. The larger living room was perfect as we could all be in the same place chatting, game playing, and taking advantage of the bar area. The larger living room also had a nice flow from the dining room, we could be in the two rooms spread out and yet together. The outdoor hot tub was a great place to hang out late at night and in the afternoon after a quick morning of skiing. We rented Your Own Estate for our Annual Ski Trip – we’ve been going on Hunter ski trips since high school, and now 10+ years later we’re still going strong.

The listing description was very accurate and thorough. Along with the listing, we were provided with a ton of information before our stay that was very helpful.

The open layout was a huge plus! We were able to spread out but not feel separated at all.

The best part about these trips is getting the larger group together and the accommodations at Your Own Estate really made our trip one of the best yet. It’s getting harder to plan for our size group as it continues to grow with new friends, new significant others, etc. In the past we’ve followed the “first come, first serve” mindset in that whoever got there first picked their beds and whoever got there last got the leftovers. This is the first time where no one felt like they weren’t getting their money’s worth.
