Coming back from upstate NY, my friends told me they always stop by here, so when they asked me if I wanted to join them, I said why not!
This is literally looks like a small building, similar to a roadside shack. I got some of their maple syrup in a mason jar, along with some maple tea. The maple syrup was definitely of high quality, which I had on some pancakes and the maple tea hit the spot.
What makes this place unique is that typically nobody is here. All the items are just on tables and it is an honor system to pay. People just place cash on the table in a specified area and you take change (hopefully there is the exact change you need!). You can also pay by credit card, but since nobody is normally present, there is a piece of paper where you write down the info, put it in a secure container, and apparently they will process the payment in the next day or two (with email confirmation). I suggest making sure you have cash so you do not need to provide this sensitive info.

Read more5 starts for a wonderful quaint store set by the side of the road. From the reviews it looks like their honor system - pick up, add the prices, pay, take your own change - was miles ahead of the social distancing era we are living in now.
The options were better organized than many supermarkets.
