Beautiful State Forest located in Eastern Wisconsin. Historic Ice Age trail should also be explored while here. Great to visit anytime of year but especially beautiful during the fall months when you can enjoy the dynamic colors as the leaves change. Lots of different things to see and do. Many different trails for hiking. A couple of great scenic drives in the area as well. Several great educational opportunities as well. Don't leave without a stop off at the Ice Age Museum.

Visited the forest to cross country ski. Well groomed trails that are well marked with maps. Plenty of hills and beautiful scenery. Non heated bathrooms and a warming structure with an area to change. $5 per person plus daily or yearly parking sticker.

Beautiful hiking trails. Went during a weekday and the trails were not at all crowded. Some parts were more open than I had expected, so I wish I had brought a hat and applied some sunscreen. Great place to spend the day

My wife and I have been visiting this area for fall hikes since the early 80's. Our kids have grown up enjoying these hikes and yesterday, our 16 month old grandson accompanied us for the first time riding in his stroller. The tradition continues! This area has many scenic hiking trails and is a real gem. The southern unit is...

The signs are marked horribly. Getting into the campground there are no signs, and the signs in the campground are seriously lacking detail. You also can't take your dog anywhere outside of the campgrounds. There is no dog-safe area for swimming or hiking. It is a pretty park and all of the campsites are big and...
