I had the fortune to be in the area for a family wedding and this shop came highly recommended from all the locals so I just had to make a trip.

Once you arrive the shop doesn't look like much from the outside, but don't let that fool you! Once inside the owner, who is a total sweetheart, greeted me with a smile and that warm Wisconsin "Hey, how are ya?" followed quickly by a few samples of a Gouda, Cheddar and Munster.

I knew I wanted to get a wheel of cheese for my team back in LA at SpaceX, and she had just the thing! A five year cheddar was setup to ship with ice via FedEx as easy as could be and soon I was browsing the four cases for my own cheesey choices.

They have so much available in their shop, and I couldn't pick just one so I grabbed some flavored cheeses, aged cheddar, specialty meats, and even fresh curds with that signature squeak.

Are you a discerning charcuterie connesuer or just a fan of quality authentic cheese? They ship the cheese anywhere and have ice packs, so what's stopping you? So when in Rome... you head to the Benoit Cheese Haus!

We always have a problem with being overcharged and items being marked wrong on the shelves or in the refrigerators. They offered a Black Friday special this time, but didn’t tell us. Good thing we saw it on a flyer. They marked an item but one get one free. Where we went to pay for our items they said as usual that wasn’t the item. After we got home we noticed we were overcharged $5.00. Please take your time calculate properly , Mark items correctly on shelves and in refrigerators.
