The absolute BEST Harley Davidson Dealer Experience I've ever had. I have boughten 3 brand new Road Glides form 3 Separate dealers, and been to COUNTLESS browsing and inquiring about bikes and prices. While Harkey Davidson Quality has gone downhill, and Quality Control seems to be sleeping on the job every single bike that rolls out the factory, this dealership has not fell from grace with the rest of the Moco. The staff is always willing to work with even the pickiest bike owners and work with you as you change your mind and decide on things. Jaimie(parts girl) ALWAYS makes sure she gets ALL THE DETAILS and small pieces you forget about when doing upgrades, not as an upsale, but things you need for the install that you cant get elsewhere, or overlooked. Alise is by far the most honest, and friendly sales person I've ever dealt with. There is NO PRESSURE when you walk in to this dealer to buy a bike, and they make you feel like family before and after the sale. After sale care is rare, almost non-existent from Harley as Whole, but McDermott's just does thing different. If you are going to spend your hard earned money at a dealership, and don't like to feel dirty and like you got used and abused afterwards, then do your business with McDermott's.

I found myself stranded about 25 miles from Bennington VT. While getting towed to McDermott's, I called ahead to tell them we were bringing in the bike and asked when they were closing. Chris (service desk) said they normally close at 5, but when they get a break down towed in, they work until they reach a stop point (i.e. they don't have the part, etc) or until they finish it. We finally got the bike there at 3:45. True to their word, the mechanic stayed until 7:30 to fix the bike. While I was there, I looked at their used bagger inventory and found a nice low mileage 2016. The sales staff is not on commission, so it was refreshing to talk to a salesman and not have to worry about unnecessary add-ons to bolster the sale price. John ( the salesman) and Alise (office manager and part owner), worked until 7:00 to get me out the door on a new ride. Highly recommend them all. I'll have to go back up there to retrieve my fixed bike ("Don't worry, we'll keep her secure"), and you can bet I'll be shopping in their store as long as I'm there. So, let me start out by saying these people saved me big time! My bike broke down during americade. Had it towed there at 11:30pm on a Friday night. They had me back on the road Saturday afternoon and no appointment. They take work on a first come first serve basis and when you live 10hours away and your only transportation home is your bike, it’s a stressful situation to say the least.

They were open till four that day. I asked the service desk that morning if they really thought they’d get me fixed before 4 and his reply was “we will be here as late as we need to be to get people like you back on the road as long as we have the parts we need” I couldn’t be more impressed with them and I’m super pleased with how they helped me and others out that day.
