A great stretch of planar hiking trail, cleared out from a former railroad. Parking lot behind Gold's Gym, featuring a picnic table and bicycle stands. In places the defunct railroad's infrastructure (like telegraph lines and mile markers) can still be seen. Benches inscribed in dedication to donors to the Dutchess County Rail Trail. Keep watch for signs of private property for what appear to be detours from the main trail, since those are private roadways.
