The venue and environment and sound were fantastic. However, the staff there completely ruined our night this past Halloween night.
I had paid for a ticket for row L. When we arrived they put us in the 4th row from the back, which is technically row P. I asked if they put us in the correct spot, and they said they changed it and that's how it is. Well that is NOT what I paid for, so I will be disputing the charge. The row they put us in would have been much cheaper than the $230 I paid to be in row L. 4 rows further up.
Then we were hanging with some friends who bought 2 tickets, one in row G and one in row A. When they arrived they decided to park in row G and had not used the row A ticket. I asked to buy it from them which I did. I returned to security to ask if I could move up to my new ticket, they told me they could not because they could not scan the ticket to be sure it hasn't been used. Understandable. Here's the kicker. I asked if I could leave and come back in so they could scan it, his response was "you can try but I can't guarantee you'll be able to get back in". I asked him a few times why that would be, since I have a legitimate ticket in my hand. He could not answer. So we hopped in the car and headed toward the exit which was completely blocked off by a large tractor, so we could not leave. I turn around and a security guard is heading towards us. Telling us that since we left, we could not return. This made NO sense since I had a ticket... I had TWO tickets. They told me my only option if I wanted to stay was to park in the 'overflow' section. A section completely off to the side and out of view of the stage. They RUINED OUR HALLOWEEN.
Everyone in the car was extremely disappointed and I feel like I got completely scammed out of $230 dollars. They sold me something for one thing, and gave me the other when I got there. The staff was extremely rude to everyone on the grounds during the show as well. I will NOT be returning to any drive in shows here EVER. Thank you for ruining our...

Apple fest is really a craft fair. Lots and lots of crafter and only 1-2 professionals companies, so that's good. A vreiry of crafts are on hand.
But, and this is a big BUT, they need to hire a civil engineer or similar to help figure out the traffic. We came im from the west on Route 20 and spent about a hour in traffic. The traffic from 81 was longer. The problem is there were streaming traffic into one single entrance on a side street. I'd think if they could take 81 traffic off before the farm and east bound traffic on the west side, it would move much better. Same for the exits though leaving at mid-day only took 30 minutes. But lines don't end there. Lines for food everywhere. The only place that didn't have long lines were the porta-potties. They had plenty of those.
Good mix of vendors but needs much better orgamization getting to and...
Read moreIt was my first-time at the festival. The website said free parking that I wasn't able to find but I didn't mind paying five dollars because it was to benefit the Carol Baldwin Breast Cancer organization. The website also said "No Pets Except for Service Animals ". The were alot of non service animals there. I was there at 1:30 pm on Sunday, October 9th. This was 3 hours before closing. Apple fritters, the one thing that I went for, was no where to be found. The Cub Scouts where out of pork and street taco's. Lafayette Lacrosse was out of meatballs. The Optimus Club was out of steak but was selling their large quantity of surplus rolls. I just don't understand how you run out of one ingredient but have a surplus of another. I will not return to the Lafayette Apple Festival but I will return to Beek & Skiff, which is where I...
