Charlie’s NW Market — Local services in Town of Land O' Lakes

I worked at a simular store in the same area for a few years when I first moved to the Northwoods, and Charlie's has set the bar high for their competition. Not only have they thought of most necessities, they offer a produce and dairy selection that is remarkable considering the square footage of their shopping area. CLEAN, well organized and most helpful and friendly staff. I've gone the extra 10miles, each way, to Charlie's that it take me MANY times, as they always have wonderful fresh produce(not just right after delivery). Its also nice to have another liquor (wine, too!) store in the area. They have a nice selection for the space. I'd love to see something like broasted chicken to go (even rotisserie)and perhaps lunch options for workers and travelers like pre-made sandwiches or salads, or even lunch meats by the lb. I noticed they have Sunday ham and Rolls. I wonder if they package their meat on site? And if so does their butcher take...

I love Charlie's market! It's a small store, but it seemingly has everything I need when I shop. There's a good mix of produce and all natural products, decent vegan selection for my friends, a nice meat and cheese variety, and the frozen section has about the same variety as a big store. The prices are higher than pick n save, but not having to drive 25 miles to eagle river each way saves half my afternoon, so I'll gladly pay the premium. They even have a good selection of sunblocks/ water toys/ rain gear so you don't have to drive into town if you forget to load up. And the staff is the best! Great little store! Staff/owners are so pleasant. We’re in town once a month or so and they had Pokémon cards one weekend. A few weeks later mentioned that our kiddo was delighted we’d picked up cards for her. Woman we spoke to said her brother (owner) would be glad to hear that since they don’t normally have them. Next time we were there, she not only remembered us, but pointed out they had cards again. ❤️ Oh, and the food selection...
