​I recently had the privilege of picking out a farewell gift for a friend. I instantly loved the core piece: a real antique snowshoe. The customization process was the highlight of the experience. With the excellent guidance of Grace, the store owner, I was able to carefully select all the accessories and decide on the exact placement of every element.

​Grace's expertise turned the selection process into a fun design session. Although I haven't received the finished piece yet, based on the quality of the other completed gifts and the care taken during my visits, I can confidently say the final product will be nothing short of great. A pleasant shop (easily passed while northbound on US Route 11, don't feel alone if you drive past the first time!). Located in in the pastoral zone just past all of the hustle and bustle of businesses outside the main gate of Ft. Drum NY, this little shop is a true gem! The owner/operator is a dedicated and highly talented craftswoman, with years of experience making military hail and farewell commemorative gifts (and more!) to express a high standard of appreciation for the the service and career history of the great men and women of our armed services..it is a joy to watch her share her craft and appreciation with her customers as "tangible recognition and grattitude" is created in the physical form of commemorative plaques and more... Directly serving those who serve, and those who have completed their service, the owner understands and manifests the culture and motto of our local United States Army Tenth Mountain Division...

There's nothing I can say that hasn't already been said. I've been coming here for 2 years after I saw my friend's snowshoe gift and was in complete shock and awe because it blows the competitors out of the water. There really are only two other places to get snowshoes and they charge high prices for half of what Grace does.

Grace takes the utmost pride in her craftsmanship and customer service to deliver unique gifts on time. Her special woodburn ornaments are a great touch to any gift and her prices are fair. She will also work with you to further customize/paint your gifts.

Highly recommend if you're looking to bid farewell to your Soldier or coworker with an awesome gift in 10th Mountain tradition.
