Ken has been working on my trucks for more than 20 years or there abouts. He worked on my father's cars too. In my father's youth he was a machinist and I was an apprentice at high end foreign car and race car tuners. I mention this as I can tell when you are being given a story or the truth. Ken has always told me the truth, repaired the vehicle the first time correctly (no returns because the problem was not fixed). He uses the equivalent of OEM parts or better. Ken is the kind of guy that tells you the sky is green, you have no need to look up, you know it is true. I now own a diesel truck, when I told Ken he said he would do oil changes and other fluids but would not work on the engine as he did not have the experience or equipment to do the quality of work I would expect. In a nutshell he is honest, good, fair, responsibly priced. He is everything you would want in mechanic. PS The shop may look run down but that doesn't effect neither his knowledge or equipment. Came up from Buffalo NY to visit family Thursday (memorial day weekend) evening.. around Binghamton noticed my Jeep started running very rough then engine light came on.. made it to Liberty.. Friday morning called this garage to see if he could service it.. dropped it off and in no time they had me back on the road saving the weekend and my wallet..he knew right away what the issue was and fixed it at a very fair price.. could have over charged since we were in a bind, but he was honest and fair. I have a 1983 VW Westfalia that I work on mostly myself but wanted a run through before I headed coast to coast and back with the gal and dog. Kenny devoted himself to my vehicle. He ran all the Bentley tests, etc, got the van running tip top and off we went for a month. Made it there and back with no major issues.
