Update: 8/19 2021, recommended family and upgraded them to roku spectrum, local store was rude and required me to call spectrum HQ to resolve the issue. Thankfully spectrum itself was more professional
Update: 2/7/20 well my bill suddenly went up. Turns out the phone service was re-activated?! Also, they said, oh, you added long distance calls...NO I don't even have phone service with you anymore!! How many times do I have to cancle the phone service i don't want!?!? I only want my internet... To top it off they said they have no records of the prior hold issue and many of the "attempts" to cancle phone service after they didn't honor my rebate... last time I ran into a company run this poorly it was called M&M auto, who went bankrupt from being caught stealing warranty money.......
Update 11/29/19 spectrum has missed their service window, never called and now say they forgot to remove the construction hold that we did on three confirmed occasions a week prior.... just wow this is most likely why they could never figure out how to honor my 100 dollar rebate ....
( Update 11/21/19 service getting installed only to find out they won't uphold 100 dollar gift card promised by their employees when I signed up for two services. Naturally I cancled the phone service and am only keeping the internet. Lost out on further profits. From all the mistakes so far, company seems very confused on how to run and has made promises and commitments they aren't able to or refuse to uphold. I hope the internet is at least fast and trouble free...
   Read moreI was talking to a supervisor today and its sunday. His name was Etan and he said his id# number is 2929. He was very unprofessional and rude. Im so upset that my nerves was so bad that i was crying .I have been a costumer for 8 yrs.There was charges that was on my bill that should have not been there and he would not let me talk about it. I could not believe that Time warner would have such a socially deprived person dealing with costumers.I kept asking sir please let me talk and all he did was talk over me.They(time warner)have an unethical policy where they tell you something is free or a certain price then months later they start charging you or raise the price without your knowledge, I find this reprehensible disrespectful financial abuse of customers, which is reflected by it's supervisory staff also.I ALSO THINK THESE FINANCIAL TACTICS BEING USED AGAINST CUSTOMERS SHOULD BE SCRUTINIZED BY A HIGHER AUTHORITY.How do you trust a company that tells you when you find unfounded charges on there bill you can not reimburse them for something they clearly never had or wanted or could access. If he answers your phone call you are a lucky one!! He was super friendly was able to confirm my payment and get my internet set up in my new apartment THE NEXT DAY! Mr. Shannon held such a delightful conversation on the phone that I legitimately enjoyed the phone call! Lots of energy in his voice, he cut to chase, and left room for some tasteful humour! You need more employees at this establishment ! I made a review on Yelp and one right here... I hope his manager in LIBERTY, NY will see this and give this man some sort of raise or SOMETHING! He's the best thing that has ever happened to spectrum in liberty, ny!!...
